Type This: Name-Dropping Rap Lyrics

By

11th Apr, 2013

If you have typography skills, obviously the next logical step is to just start illustrating designer label-dropping Hip Hop lyrics, right? Okay, so it’s a little random but a perfect excuse to ogle some beautiful typography on this fine morning by graphic designer Luke Skinner. His project “Luxury Rap” consists of his hand-drawn lettering in ink of A-Z fashion references from rap songs with ‘minimal Photoshop/digital manipulation’.

Someone hire this guy to do a T-shirt line…

We might not all be as badass as Gwyneth Paltrow and know all the lyrics to rap songs, but you can still appreciate the artwork…!

See more of Luke Skinner’s A-Z of fashion references in hip hop here and keep up with him on Twitter.
