Bo Kaap – explore one of the oldest settlements in the city. Sign up for a cooking class to have a go at samosas, rotis and the famous Cape Malay curry, picking up some cultural history along the way. The Bo Kaap museum is quite small and interesting. It’s along Wale Street near Rock Sole shoe repairs. Get yourself a meal at Ahmed’s Tikka House afterwards and a koesister from the people selling food and sweets on Rose street.
