Niagara Falls

Test the waters with the Maid of the Mist – a renowned boat ride that takes you right into the heart of both the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls. You’re likely to be showered in mist and unabale to hear each other over the roar but it’s sensational to be so close to the pounding sheets of water. The Whirlpool jet boats are also pretty damn thrilling. Soaring over the Niagara Whirlpool since 1916 is the Whirlpool Aero Car. The antique cable car is suspended from six sturdy cables and offers spectacular views of the swirling Niagara Whirlpool and the Class 6 whitewater rapids of the Niagara River. Just a note that Sundays is generally the busiest day at the falls.

After the falls, you can head over to the Butterfly Conservatory, which features more than 2,000 exotic species in a tropical rainforest setting. Butterflies fly around freely, landing on shoulders and arms as they please.
