It’s never a bad idea to start with a morning stroll through the Jardin de Luxembourg and stop in at the Musée de Luxembourg which has a high quality exhibition program. Seek out the little Paris beekeeping school and watch the kids pushing adorable little sailboats around the Grand Bassin duck pond (a 90 year old tradition). Do lunch afterwards at my favorite little bistrot on the side of town, Au Petit Suisse, opposite the garden gates.
