19 Rue de Bièvre
75005 Paris
Just steps from Notre Dame Messy Nessy’s Cabinet is located on one of the city’s most picturesque medieval streets with a hidden ancient river running beneath it! Our closest metro is Maubert-Mutualité (Line 10), three minutes away on foot. Look for the blue shopfront. We have a secret garden opposite that welcomes dogs (as do we). We are ready to assist wheelchairs and buggies up the old step into the shop and once you’re inside we are 100% wheelchair accessible.

Discover the neighbourhood! Everything I love within walking distance of the Cabinet right here.

What’s inside
A cabinet of curiosities, in the flesh
Guided by the little-known stories, unsung heroes, forgotten crafts and strange objects that have captured Nessy’s imagination over the years on her blog, Vanessa’s collection is her online cabinet of curiosities come to life. We’ll also introduce you to local Parisian artists, makers and authors. Take a journey down the rabbit hole…

After hours
Evenings at the Cabinet
When the shop lights go down, the Cabinet doesn’t close. We host the Paris Writers & Readers Club, craft nights, tarot readings, wine tastings — most are reserved for Keyholders, but a few are open to the curious public.
